Community Outreach Initiatives

The Community Outreach Committee focuses on events and initiatives that bring the residents of Etobicoke together. One of our first events was a Mayoral Debate at Humber College during the most recent Toronto Municipal Election which attracted more than 400 attendees. In 2015 we hosted a family friendly and free Corn Roast at Franklin Horner Community Centre with plenty of roasted corn, games, children's activities, and the first ever 'Lob the Cob' contest.

In 2016 we launched our Speakers Series, a series of free events featuring guest speakers discussing topics such as Seniors, Transit and more.

We regularly host open community meetings as an opportunity to update our members and the general public on our goals and activities and also to invite them to get involved. If you are interested in joining the outreach committee or learning more please email [email protected]
